Enjoying the view from my parents back porch. It's always stressful actually getting to my parents house (3 hour plane ride followed by long car ride) but once we do, I completely relax and enjoy the familiarity of home which always includes good company, great food, homeade bread, endless glasses of iced tea, no traffic, creaky floors, trips to Mancino's, running on gravel roads, and some dates with my hubby thanks to grandparents. And I love seeing Isaac (and in the near future Grace) explore the farm and get to experience some of the things (and toys) I did growing up.

I love these next few pictures of Grace with her great-great Aunt Reba. She is 89 and an inspiration for all our family. When my grandma got in her car accident several several years ago, Aunt Reba stepped in and helped keep the family afloat. Love her and Uncle Dale very much!

Grace was a happy baby at the reception. At one point she was sitting in her carseat by a flowerbed making these loud cat like noises. Some of the guests starting laughing after they figured out the cat they were looking for was actually a 5 month old baby girl.
Visiting the new park that just opened about a mile from my parents house. It's a former gravel pit now turned into a sandy beach with a beautiful swimming lake for families. And it's free and another thing to look forward to when coming home!
Here we are actually visiting some family friends that live down the road from my parents. They have a robot that milks their cows and they have it set up where visitors can come in and watch. Isaac thought the robot was pretty neat. He still talks about it.

Our beautiful little 5 month old!
Visiting my long time friend Erikka and her family of 5. She has the sweetest little girls and one adorable little boy who just turned one. They just bought a new camper and amaze me by all their camping trips with their young kids. Derek prefers the hotel....for now :)

This is Abby-Kristina's newest little addition. So precious and replica of her mom.
